MONEYGIST · PORTFOLIO MASTERY · LIVE COHORT

You’ve Started Investing. Now Build a Portfolio You Understand.

You may already own an ETF or some shares. But how is the portfolio constructed? What belongs in it beyond one fund? Where do individual stocks or dividends fit, and when does adding another investment improve your portfolio or just make it complicated?

MoneyGist Portfolio Mastery helps you work through portfolio construction, investing accounts, ETFs, individual stocks and managing the portfolio over time. We work through the options in a clear order, then dedicate time for the investment questions you’ve always had.

THE PROBLEM

You Are Investing… But You Are Not Sure You Have a Portfolio

01

You bought one fund and stopped there

Choosing the first ETF was the hard part and you got through it. The contributions have carried on since then and nothing else has changed.

What you cannot tell is whether one global fund is the whole answer or the first quarter of it.

02

Each holding is a separate decision

Do individual stocks belong alongside funds? Do dividends matter or are they a distraction? Where does gold fit, if anywhere? When should you rebalance?

What do you already own through your funds? What should you add? And how do you compare the opportunity with the extra risk?

03

Your setup leaves you with more questions

ISA vs SIPP? Which platform? What changes if you hold investments in Nigeria or may leave the UK? The next decision is not always clear.

You understand the basics but the reality of maintaining a portfolio is more complicated than expected.

THE TRUTH

You Are Not Interested In More Content

You don’t want more information. You need structure. Your time is valuable and it should not be wasted scouring the internet for bits and pieces of information from YouTube, ChatGPT, or another £50 course.

That is the point of Portfolio Mastery.

“Modupe was very transparent with his progress and successes and made some of the most complex nuances, simple.”

Participant, Wealth Transformation Programme

This is not six sessions of listening to someone talk about investing while you take pages of notes. We use the time on the portfolio you actually hold, the decisions in front of you and the mechanics of running it yourself.

WHY THIS PROGRAMME EXISTS

Built From Experience, Shaped by Demand

Hi, I’m Modupe. When I first moved to London, I went from being the personal finance guy in my circles to realising just how much I did not know about investing abroad.

I was not new to investing. I had been investing my own money for over 15 years. But ISAs, SIPPs, ETFs and the numerous tax rules were all new to me.

My transition did not come from discovering some new investment secret. What finally helped me was a simple conversation that cleared up the specific questions holding me back, allowing me to move from endless content consumption to building my global portfolio.

In January 2026, over 40 professionals joined the MoneyGist 30-Day Wealth Transformation Programme. The feedback pointed to one consistent gap: people needed deeper investment guidance, with live support to work through the questions that arise in practice.

The MoneyGist Portfolio Mastery is my answer to that request.

It is a small, live programme where I explain how a portfolio is built, work through the mechanics with you and help you decide what belongs in yours.

This is education and guided implementation, not personalised financial advice.

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

A Portfolio You Understand & a Process You Can Repeat

Know what you own, and why you own it

You can say what each fund, share and account is for, how long it is meant to stay invested and why it earned a place in your portfolio.

Nothing sits in the portfolio because someone mentioned it at a party or in on social media.

You build a portfolio, not just a collection of stocks

You know what your fund actually holds, where it overlaps with everything else you own and what a second or third holding would add.

Adding something new becomes a decision you can explain rather than a reflex.

Your portfolio runs even when you’re not watching

You have a repeatable portfolio review process that’s independent of breaking news or world events.

Contributions, rebalancing and review happen on a rhythm you chose rather than dictated by a news headline.

The goal is not to spend more time thinking about your portfolio. It is to use a few focused hours to build one that needs less attention later.

THE PROGRAMME

Build a Portfolio You Understand and Know How to Manage

Sessions combine teaching, guided work on your own portfolio and dedicated time for questions. Cross-border considerations for those with money, family or future plans back home or elsewhere are built into the sessions where they apply.

SESSION 1

Week 1

Portfolio construction and ETFs

What a portfolio is meant to do, how the pieces fit together, and what an ETF is really giving you underneath the name.

You can describe the shape of the portfolio you are building and why it is shaped that way.

SESSION 2

Week 1

Investing accounts and systems

ISAs, SIPPs, workplace pensions, general investment accounts and platforms, and the role each plays in your circumstances.

You decide which account your contributions should go into, and what that choice costs or saves you.

SESSION 3

Week 2

Going beyond one ETF

What a second and third holding actually add, where funds overlap, and the point at which more holdings stop helping.

You can decide if your portfolio needs another holding, or if it simply makes the things harder to manage.

SESSION 4

Week 2

Evaluating individual stocks

Consider how individual shares may fit alongside diversified funds, what that demands of you, and how to evaluate a company beyond its brand name.

You have a clear rule for whether individual stocks belong in your portfolio at all.

SESSION 5

Week 3

Dividends, gold and other assets

Compare the role of income and different sources of diversification. Examine dividend sustainability, the trade-offs of gold and other diversifiers, and what each could contribute to a portfolio.

You know what dividends do and do not do for a long-term portfolio, and where gold, bonds and other diversifiers fit.

SESSION 6

Week 3

Managing your portfolio with ease

Build a repeatable process for contributions, monitoring, rebalancing and investment reviews. Distinguish a reason to act from a reason to leave the portfolio alone.

You leave with a review rhythm you can maintain alongside a demanding career.

WEEK 4

Investment Clinic

Two Hours Dedicated To Your Own Questions

Submit your questions in advance. We work through the questions, recurring themes, and sticking points that only appear once people start making changes. Use the examples and explanations to clarify your own next steps.

Optional hot-seat participation. You choose the level of detail you are comfortable sharing. The clinic covers education and decision frameworks, not personalised investment, tax or legal advice.

INSIDE THE PROGRAMME

You Will Not Spend Six Sessions Just Taking Notes

01 · Understand

I explain the decision

Each part starts with a plain-English explanation of the principle, the trade-offs and why it matters to a professional building wealth across more than one country.

02 · Apply

You work through it

You use the relevant template or checklist on your own portfolio during the session. The aim is to make progress while we are together, not add another task to a list you may never revisit.

03 · Ask

Your questions shape the Investment Clinic

You can submit questions before the sessions so I can group recurring themes and prepare useful examples. The week four clinic works through selected questions, common sticking points and optional hot seats, with room for live follow-up.

This keeps the discussion useful to the group.

04 · Compare Notes

The cohort has its own group

A WhatsApp group opens one week before the first session, so you can compare notes with other people making the same decisions at the same time.

Group participation does not include guaranteed personal replies or individual support from me.

A CONSIDERED FIT

Is Portfolio Mastery Right for You?

This is for you if…

  • You may already invest but you want to go deeper into portfolio construction, ETFs and individual stocks..
  • You hold one fund, or a handful of holdings chosen at different times, and you cannot say how they fit together.
  • You want to settle where individual stocks, dividends, gold and other diversifiers belong, if anywhere.
  • You want to make your own informed decisions and run your portfolio properly rather than hand it to someone else.
  • You keep getting stuck at the point of implementation.
  • You need your investing decisions to account for assets abroad and other cross-border considerations.
  • You want focused working time, clear explanations and the opportunity to ask questions.
  • You want a portfolio you can hold for decades, not another investment trend to chase.

This is not for you if…

  • You want someone to tell you exactly what to buy, sell or transfer
  • You are looking for stock tips, day trading or guaranteed returns.
  • You want someone else to manage your money for you.
  • You only want presentations to watch without taking part in the guided work.
  • You need personalised financial, tax or legal advice for a complex situation.
  • You are still struggling with fundamentals of personal finance. The Wealth Reset is a better starting point.
  • You are not in a position to pay the remaining £400 before the first session.

THE QUESTIONS YOU ARE ASKING

What May Be Holding You Back

“I already understand the basics.”

Good. Nothing here treats an experienced professional like a complete beginner.

Portfolio Mastery goes beyond a first-ETF introduction. We examine portfolio construction, individual stocks, diversifiers and the decisions involved in managing investments over time.

“I can find this information for free.”

Maybe. YouTube is filled with videos on ETFs and basic investing principles.

The value is in having the information organised in one place, working through it collectively, and being able to ask questions that take you beyond the point where you would normally stop.

“I am too busy for another programme.”

That is precisely why the sessions are spread across four weeks.

That is less time than this has already cost you in scattered weekends. You also keep access to the teaching replays.

“I don’t want to discuss all my finances in front of a group.”

You will not be required to disclose account numbers, exact balances or anything else you would rather keep private.

You work on your information privately and choose the level of detail you are comfortable sharing.

“I may not stay in the UK permanently.”

That is one of the reasons cross-border considerations run through the sessions.

Your visa status, family situation and future plans change which accounts and holdings make sense. The sessions do not assume the UK must be your permanent end point.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the format?

Six live sessions of two hours each, running twice a week across three weeks, followed by a 2-hour Investment Clinic in week four. The sessions combine teaching, guided work on your own portfolio and time for questions.

Is this suitable if I have only just started investing?

Probably not. Portfolio Mastery starts at portfolio construction and assumes you are already invested or ready to be. If you are still working out where to begin, the Investing Blueprint covers the same curriculum at your own pace, and the Wealth Reset deals with the wider financial picture first.

How does the Investment Clinic work?

You submit questions in advance. I use them to identify recurring themes, prepare useful examples and decide which sticking points to work through with the group. There is also room for live follow-up questions.

Hot-seat participation is optional, and you decide how much personal information you are comfortable sharing.

When will the dates be confirmed?

The first cohort is planned for March 2027. Exact session dates and times will be confirmed before you are asked to pay the balance. Once the schedule is announced, you can accept the dates and pay the balance, move your deposit to a later cohort while keeping the £497 price, or request a full refund.

Can I pay the £400 balance in instalments?

No. The £97 is a refundable reservation deposit, not an instalment plan. The remaining £400 is paid in one payment after the dates are confirmed.

What if the dates do not work for me?

You can move your deposit to a later cohort and keep the £497 price, or request a full refund. No questions asked.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes. You will have access to the core teaching and general Q&A replays. Participant-specific hot-seat discussions will not be included in the replay unless the participant has agreed.

How does the WhatsApp group work?

Each cohort has its own WhatsApp group. It opens one week before the first session, so you can compare notes with people working through the same decisions at the same time. I take part while the programme is running.

The group stays open afterwards for members who want to keep talking to each other. I am no longer an active participant once the programme ends, and community participation does not include guaranteed personal replies or individual support.

Will you tell me which investments to buy?

No. Portfolio Mastery provides financial education, decision frameworks, guided exercises and practical comparison tools. I will not provide personalised instructions on what you should buy, sell, invest in or transfer.

Is this suitable if I am on a visa or may leave the UK?

Yes. The programme is built for people whose financial lives and future plans may span more than one country. It will help you identify the questions and trade-offs that apply to your circumstances, but it cannot replace personalised tax, legal or regulated financial advice.

How many people will be in the group?

The cohort is limited to a maximum of 12 participants. This gives the group enough range for useful discussion while protecting time for questions and direct feedback.

How is this different from the Investing Blueprint?

The Investing Blueprint is the self-paced version of this curriculum, produced from these recordings. Portfolio Mastery is the live cohort: the sessions as they happen, the week four Investment Clinic and the group working through the decisions alongside you.
