The need

Financial systems shape how quickly people settle, focus, and make confident decisions.

For international professionals, financial stress is rarely limited to a payslip or bank account. It can include a tax system they are unfamiliar with, assets and obligations in their home country, pension questions, visa uncertainty and the quiet pressure of trying not to make an expensive mistake in a new country.

These sessions give employers, networks and communities a practical way to address that pressure without asking attendees to disclose personal financial details or receive personal advice in a group setting.

Formats

Two ways to bring the conversation into the room

Keynote Session

60 minutes

A focused session for larger groups, conferences, employee resource groups and community events. The session frames the problem, explains the practical moving parts and leaves time for selected questions.

Speaker

Modupe Sanda

Modupe Sanda is the founder of MoneyGist UK and director of Crescent Alliance Limited. He brings more than two decades of professional experience across engineering, marketing, and global business, alongside 15+ years of personal investing experience across multiple countries.

After relocating to the UK in 2020, he experienced the gap between professional competence and financial familiarity in a new system. His work now focuses on making UK financial concepts easier to understand for international professionals and the organisations that support them.

His sessions are structured, practical and plain-speaking. They are designed to reduce confusion, create better questions and help people understand the decisions in front of them without turning personal financial into their second job.

Audience fit

Useful for organisations and groups where money stress is present but rarely named.

Good fit

  • Employers with international staff
  • Employee resource groups and professional networks
  • Community organisations and charities
  • Universities and alumni groups
  • Conferences and internal events

Not the right fit

  • Events requiring personal financial advice
  • Sessions built around fund recommendations or product sales
  • Any expectations around speculative trading or market-timing
  • Situations where attendees need confidential one-to-one planning

Audience evidence

The value is clarity people can use.

“Financial empowerment begins with education and intentional planning. Whether you’re just starting your investment journey or looking to optimise what you already have, the key is to stay informed, ask questions, and take action. Grateful to Modupe for helping us navigate these important conversations.”
